Graves Family with Patricia Polacco. This is a funny book with colorful pictures has creepy details. My son loves it it has great messages, a book of how differences should be celebrated and not feared. This is a great book again in my writing time after reading the book I would ask the students what detailed words the Author used.
Then I would ask students to try to go back and used details words in their stories.
great book to read since Halloween is coming up.
